Ultratone Guitars is an authorized dealer of Hagstrom guitars and basses. In 1958, Swedish-based Hagstrom began manufacturing electric guitars after enjoying success in building accordions. The first Hagstrom guitars were covered in sparkle pearloid celluloid, an ingenious use of materials previously used in the original accordion production. Over the years Hagstrom has expanded their line up to include hollow body guitars like the Viking and Jimmy, electric guitars, acoustics, basses, and the Hagstrom flagship models Swede and Super Swede. When Hagstrom ceased production in 1983, the guitars became instant collectors items, and the love and respect for these fine instruments by musicians around the world has never waned. Now, the waiting is over, the legendary Hagstrom has returned with all new and reissued models that rely on a unique sourcing and manufacturing concept.
